NIKI:
Long run #2 was a 13 miler. I got 2 words for this one....Tan Lines! That's right, January in Texas you never know what the weather will be like. Not only did L and I work on our tan, we saw some stinky road kill and we ran out of water at mile 10...no worries, L solved this dilemma by finding a water spick-it at a stranger's house to refill our water bottles! This run also increased our communication with the Lord as seen in our new mantra for the road to Boston, "Give me the strength, power, and determination, Lord Jesus, to make it through this run!" Thank you, Jesus, for our able bodies...that now have Tan Lines!!!

  3. Hey, you don't know me, but Paige shared your blog with me. I'm currently training for the Austin half (after 3 years of no running) and *hopefully* the Galveston Half Ironman coming up in April. I'm excited for the updates, congrats on qualifying for Boston!
